*** PLEASE NOTE ***

All items in the section are almost perfect but not quite. Nevertheless, they would still love a home.

They maybe very knotty, have patches, voids in the wood or cosmetic damage. Some maybe a little rough to the touch too, but all are safe, beautiful and ready to be played with.

Nurture numeracy skills development with this classic heirloom piece, from learning to count to 100 through to more complex work with numbers, patterns and sequences.

Our sturdy handcrafted 100 dots board is a great companion to counting activities, and its 10 x 10 grid provides a flexible resource for exploring more complex number work. As a standalone toy, it can be used as a base for supervised activities such as sorting and counting small found objects (pebbles, acorns or leaves).

One, two, miss a few… 99, 100!

The dots board combines well with counters for fun supervised activities with older children, and we can supply felt balls and tongs for this purpose (sold separately).

Materials and usage

Each piece is handcrafted and finished using eco-friendly, vegan-friendly, sustainable and locally sourced materials. The surface is varnished to provide a hardwearing and wipeable finish that is VOC, solvent and BPA-free (gentle to the environment and little hands).

Independently CE tested and certified safe from birth.

We recommend these toys from when children can sit unaided.

Please note that optional felt balls (sold separately) are not vegan-friendly (they are hand made from natural merino wool in Nepal). We advise against felt balls being handled by very young children. They can be used as counters in supervised activities with older children. However they are not CE certified as a toy and must not be used as such. Similarly, optional tongs (sold separately) are not a toy and must not be used as such.

Dimensions and features

Board size: 300 x 300 x 18mm

While the dimensions are exact, each piece has its own distinctive character that sets it apart from a mass-manufactured children’s toy. Unique characteristics such as differences in wood grain are a hallmark of our handcrafted and small batch production processes. Colour batches may also vary across time. To achieve colour matching between multiple sets, we recommend that these are purchased concomitantly.
