**Launching August 31st**
Get on the move and find your way with our sustainably made play compass, a great resource to help children learn about navigation and take the lead in their adventures.
This play compass is designed for younger children to learn the foundations of navigation, before moving onto a complex full magnetic compass. The dial can be freely moved to explore the concepts of left to right, or from East to West. It will support children to take the lead as they begin their first steps in navigation and orienteering outdoors.
Our versatile and sustainably made Pocket Explorer collection can be mixed and matched to support a wide range of play opportunities outdoors. Each piece has been carefully designed to help deepen explorations of the natural world, to support observation, creative documentation, and reflections skills of the contrasting and changing landscapes we encounter. Used regularly, a compass can help children navigate themselves around processes and changes occurring in the natural world, such as the movement of the seasons, lifecycles, and the effects of the climate.
